Our hawks celebrated our focus on the Hawks Pledge with a spirit tunnel.

May 2-6 Staff Appreciation Week. Our HES PTA spoiled us with artwork, bags of gifts and snacks, lunch from Firehouse Subs, Kona Ice, cookies, and a take home dinner. Thank you!

Congratulations to Ms. Mary McLaren-Wood. The VFW Post 609 selected Ms. McLaren-Wood as their Teacher of the Year. She is our STEM teacher, SCA advisor, news show sponsor and works with our Mentorworks program. In addition, Ms. McLaren-Wood is a local Girl Scout leader.

Our sixth grade students shared their research unit projects where students were asked to choose a famous American and create a museum exhibit showcasing their most important accomplishment or contribution to the history of America.
