STEAM education in FCPS is an inquiry approach to teaching and learning where students integrate science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics to solve real-world problems, develop Portrait of a Graduate attributes, prepare for future careers, and engage as global citizens.

All K-6 grade classes visit the STEM Room at Hayfield Elementary School according to the master schedule for the year. Please follow STEM at Hayfield ES on Twitter @HayfieldesSTEM and visit Mrs. McLaren-Wood’s STEM room found in Schoology in the Student All Course under the Materials tab.
