On January 29 HES Staff participated in the HES SCA Jersey Spirit Day.

Virginia Governor Ralph S. Northam declared January 24-30 as Virginia School Principals Appreciation Week to acknowledge the tireless efforts of school principals across the commonwealth. We are proud to honor our principal, Jessica Lewis.

On January 22 Hayfield Elementary staff participated in the HES SCA spirt day.

Congratulations to Alaina Taylor, fifth grade teacher at Hayfield Elementary, for her National Board Certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS).

It is with great pleasure that we announce Lauren Joseph, sixth grade teacher, as Hayfield Elementary Schools 2020/2021 Outstanding Teacher Nominee and Selena Galeas, Instructional Assistant, as Hayfield Elementary Schools Outstanding Operational Staff Nominee.

The last school week of 2020 HES celebrated with some holiday and school spirit. We wore our favorite pajamas, brought a stuffed animal to class, wore crazy holiday hats and socks, we wore comfy winter clothes and brought a warm blanket to class, and we wore holiday shirts or Hayfield Elementary shirts.
